Visitor/Honorary Email Accounts

Each Faculty and Division of JCU can request that special VISITOR accounts be created for any 12 month period. The maximum number of accounts per Faculty/Division will be 20. These are in addition to normal external accounts.

Application Forms are available online or from InfoHelp

These accounts should be used for short-term visiting academics to allow them to access email and web services.

These accounts will be in the format of

vis### eg. vis001 - vis020

Accounts will be assigned to the FEO/Head of Division or official nominee and an authorised charge code must be provided on the application form

NOTE: Accounts will NOT be created without a charge code.

Because these accounts are not for staff or students of JCU they must fall within the AARNet guidelines

The creation and maintenance of these accounts will attract an administrative charge. Please see the charge schedule at:

They will also attract charges for Internet Usage.
