Backup and Restore

Information Technology and Resources maintains backups of the Central Systems. These backups are for recovery of the systems in the case of system failure or major disaster due to flooding, fire and the like.

These backups are done on the basis of a rolling 13 week window so at any point in time the longest retained information is 91 days.

Although we will in extreme circumstances restore user data where it has been inadvertently removed or destroyed the backup system is for disaster recovery situations and we will not entertain restoring files when these are caused by user error and are not part of mission critical systems.
