The First 20 Years

"The history of digital computing in James Cook University, in its then guise of the University College of Townsville, probably began in November 1963, when the first course on computer programming was given by Dick Kelly of the University of Queensland Computer Centre (now the Prentice Computer Centre). It is the function of this informal history to relate how computing developed here over the next 20 years."
